Biography

Bleddyn joined Keele Law School in June 2023 as Head of the School of Law. Prior to that he was Head of the Law Subject Group at Salford University, Acting Programme Leader of the LLB at Liverpool John Moores University, having lectured at both LJMU and Liverpool University before that.

Research and scholarship

Bleddyn's research interests are Public Law in the broadest sense with interests in UK and European Public Law and well as Public International Law. His PhD was a constitutional study of the EU's powers on Police and Criminal Co-operation, but more recently he has published on democracy and Constitutional change in the light of the Brexit referendum.
He is also interested in legal pedagogy and is currently writing, with colleagues form Liverpool John Moores and Edge Hill Universities, a book on engaging with the student voice.

Teaching

Bleddyn teaches Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and the Law of the European Union.
