Biography
Ren is from Nagaland, India. She completed her BSc from Christ University Bangalore, India. In 2014, she moved to Dublin, Ireland to do an MSc in Chemistry from University College Dublin during which she carried out a research project on organocatalysis in the McGarrigle group. She then pursued her PhD in the McGarrigle group and her work focused on Methodology Development for Stereoselective Glycosylations. After completing her PhD in 2019, she continued as a PDRA in the McGarrigle group during which she worked on Beta-Mannosylations. She joined Keele in 2020 within Gavin to work on the chemical synthesis of heparan sulfate.
