Keele lecturer receives his third Keele degree alongside his students
A Keele academic has received his third Keele degree at this year’s postponed graduation ceremonies.
Joining the congregation alongside the students who he taught, Dr Steven Rogers – a Lecturer in Geology – received his Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at the ceremony held on campus.
This is Dr Rogers’ third degree from Keele, following his undergraduate degree and his PhD which were also both completed at the University.
Dr Rogers said: “I am very lucky to have been supported by so many people at Keele whilst studying for my various degrees. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by graduating with our students.”
He is one of thousands of students that graduated from Keele last week, in the University’s biggest ever week of ceremonies.
Students from the 2020 and 2021 cohorts were finally able to celebrate their achievements after their graduations were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
