Fresh direction for Keele Business School with new Director and suite of new courses
Keele University’s Business School has expanded its offering with a host of new courses and a new Director at the helm.
Dr Scott Bambrick has joined Keele from Manchester Metropolitan University, where he was Head of the Strategy, Enterprise and Sustainability department.
Dr Bambrick said: “This is a very exciting time for me to be joining Keele Business School, as we look to grow our programmes, increase our student body, and ensure we continue to develop and deliver excellent courses. In being regionally embedded and by working closely with local and national partners and businesses, all our students will be given the opportunity to engage with industry and gain valuable employability experiences.
“By enhancing our global reach through research, partnerships, student mobility and accreditations, we will focus on the internationalisation of our student experience, helping them better prepare for life after graduation from Keele Business School.”
Dr Bambrick’s appointment as the Director of Keele Business School coincides with a time of change across the school, with a suite of new courses also on offer.
In addition to the existing portfolio, KBS now offers single honours courses in Marketing; Accounting; Business Management; Business Management and Economics; Human Resource Management; and Business and Supply Chain Management.
Students of KBS not only learn from industry experts at the top of their fields, but also benefit from extensive connections with businesses for education, research, and placement opportunities.
Earlier this year KBS received Small Business Charter accreditation in recognition of its commitment to supporting small businesses and the local economy, and through Keele’s Business Gateway students have the chance to work with real entrepreneurs on Knowledge Exchange projects, helping local businesses stay competitive and successful. The School is also revamping its business analytics and digital science portfolio, to produce graduates whose data and analytics skills can support business and economic growth.
