Keele Day 2024

As part of Keele University’s 75th anniversary celebrations, you’re invited to join us for Keele Day 2024 - a free, fun-filled day out for all the family!

Saturday 29 June, 11am - 4pm
Keele University campus

Please note that pre-registration is now closed, but guests are still welcome to attend without booking and enjoy the 40+ activities taking place during Keele Day!  Just visit the Welcome Point located in the Students' Union to sign in, pick up your event programme and reserve your place for those activities which have limited capacity.

Can't join us in person on the day? Our programme of academic talks is being streamed via Microsoft Teams. Whilst you have the option to sign into a Teams account and use the Teams app, it is not necessary. You can choose to join anonymously and through a web browser, should you wish.

RAF flyby update

Due to the ongoing pause in flying for the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight after the tragic accident in Lincolnshire on 25 May 2024, unfortunately the flyby will no longer take place as part of Keele Day. We apologise for any inconvenience, and hope you enjoy the wide variety of other activities taking place on campus during the day.

Throughout the day we have a range of activities, workshops, live music, talks and much more! Come and collect a programme from our Welcome Point in the Students' Union on the day, or check out the Zones below for a full list of activities.

Learn circus skills, take part in some woodland crafts, create a tile for our new garden, complete our dragon trail, and more!

From frisbee golf and volleyball, to lawn tennis and croquet, come and have a go at a range of family-friendly sports.

Explore the stars, solve a crime, try your hand at being a vet or step inside a working ambulance - there are a wide variety of hands-on activities to enjoy.

Take a closer look at the wind turbines and solar panels which create renewable energy for our campus, explore the majestic Keele Hall, or join one of our academics for an informative talk.

Escape from Keele Hall, explore our archives and the Raven Mason collection, or join Neil "Nello" Baldwin for a showing of the Bafta-winning story of his life, "Marvellous".

We'll be celebrating our Golden Graduates on Friday 28 June, as well as offering all alumni access to our exclusive alumni refreshment lounge on Keele Day itself.
