Guided Walk: Keele University Low Carbon Energy Park Tour.

Join Matt and Alana on a tour of the Low Carbon Energy Generation Park at Keele. The tour normally takes around 30-45 minutes. See a solar farm and wind turbine up-close! You will find out more about wind/solar/battery technologies, issues faced with planning and the National Grid, as well as the Biogain biodiversity project taking place at the site. 

The tour with last for between 30-45 minutes with an approximate 15-minute walk to the site. 

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, and walking shoes, and bring rain coat/sun hat!

Car: Keele is between Junctions 15 and 16 on the M6 motorway and is just west of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme. The address is Keele University, Keele, Newcastle ST5 5BG. Satnav users please use the University postcode ST5 5BJ for main visitor car parks.
