A Long Time by MOAL.

Combining 43 minutes of music with 100 animated photographs, 'A LONG TIME' by MOAL is a unique audio-visual project to awaken the senses. After a successful launch event in London, the project now comes to Keele's stunning observatory space as part of 'What on Earth?!'.

The images were inspired by the dancing nebulas of the universe and were all captured in-camera, so no editing was done. Matched with an eclectic 43-min song drawing influence from Henryk Górecki’s ‘Symphony No.3’, Steve Reich’s polyphonic work in ‘Electric Counterpoint’ and Jeff Buckley’s tender vocals; the result is a deeply emotional piece that transports you beyond the stars.

This art/ music installation which includes large projections and specially created music will take place inside the spectacular Keele Observatory dome, home to the Grubb refracting telescope which celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2024.

You are also able to view this installation on a drop-in basis between 11am - 3pm on the same day.
