Plastic Shed
Plastic Shed.
Sunday 21st April, 12:30 - 4:30pm. Keele University Student Union.
Plastic Shed is a Community Benefit Society based in Stockport. They unite people around the issue of plastic pollution and do this by providing lots of different ways for people to get involved with reusing plastic waste locally.
Using recycled vinyl banners, you will get the chance to make your very own 100% recycled plastic plant pot to take home. Vinyl banners are the banners used to advertise events outside, usually used once and then discarded and burned. Which is such a waste of a wonderful material, it is colourful, strong and waterproof. Through some simple steps we will show you how to create your own plant pot ready to be filled with a plant, or used on your desk for pens, pencils etc, whatever you like!
Part of What on Earth?! a series of fun, creative, and engaging activities, performances, and workshops taking place on Keele Campus (and beyond) in the lead to Earth Day 2024. Developed in partnership with the amazing Appetite and fantastic partners from Keele Campus you can spend your visit absorbed in the world around you with lots to see and do. More information on the activities planned for the weekend can be found here: What on Earth?!
