Distinguished Keele University alumni Dame Fiona Woolf DBE DL and Jack Bowman have been appointed to Keele’s College of Fellows.

The College of Fellows is a small group of supporters and stakeholders who are advocates for the University on a regional, national and international level, and provide an informal forum in support of the University’s advancement.

Dame Fiona Woolf is a Keele alumna, and an energy lawyer with CMS Cameron McKenna.

She has advised over 28 governments and the World Bank on privatisation and energy reforms, and she has over 20 years of experience in dealing with regulation, market design, implementation and major projects in the electricity industry. She was awarded a DBE in the 2015 New Year Honours for services to the Legal Profession, Diversity and the City of London. Her career espouses diversity and is she is the second woman ever to have been Lord Mayor of London.

Keele alumnus and entrepreneur, Jack Bowman, developed his start-up idea to support individuals’ health care, enriching the lives of hundreds of thousands of people globally. Following his own success, Jack has considered how his real experience of start-ups and the need to innovate and incubate, along with his international reach and particular knowledge of the Chinese market, might be used to help other young graduates.
