Law at Keele ranked in Global Top 200
Law at Keele University has been ranked among the Top 200 in the world in the Times Higher Education World University Subject Rankings 2022 - a prestigious global ranking of university subjects featuring hundreds of universities worldwide.
The rankings judge university subjects on their teaching, research and impact, and this strong performance highlights the School's international reputation for excellence.
Students at Keele’s School of Law are taught to employ a critical and inter-disciplinary approach to law and social justice, and benefit from research-driven courses with a wide range of career and employability options, as well as unique opportunities such as CLOCK and facilities including the Moot Court where they can hone their skills in a mock-courtroom setting, presided over by expert lawyers and judges.
Professor Alison Brammer, Head of the School of Law said: “I am delighted and proud, to see the collective work of the School recognised in this ranking. It is a welcome reflection of our commitment to delivering excellence and innovation through research-led teaching; the genuine impact of our research nationally, internationally and in the local region; and employability opportunities for students to apply their skills, for example through work at the Commercial Law Clinic.”
This year’s World University subject rankings also saw strong performances for other Humanities subjects at Keele including Education and Social Sciences (including Politics, International Relations, Sociology and Criminology), which both placed in the Top 300.
