New partnership between Keele and Navitas to benefit international students
A new partnership between Keele University and a leading global education provider will give international students new opportunities to access higher education.
Navitas, a global provider of educational services, has agreed a new partnership with Keele to give international students a new pathway to help them access a university education.
Navitas now plans to set up the Keele University International College on campus, into which they will recruit international students to study a variety of programmes that will enable them to progress onto a course at Keele.
The College will deliver programmes at foundation, undergraduate first-year, and pre-Masters levels, as well as pre-sessional English. This will be provided by Navitas and endorsed or approved by Keele, as well as being aligned with the University’s own curriculum.
The aim is for the College to be launched later this year, with the first students recruited to start in September 2022.
Professor Trevor McMillan, Vice-Chancellor of Keele University said: "I am delighted that this new partnership with Navitas will allow us to further enhance our offering to international students, who form a crucial part of the Keele community. Not only will Navitas’ expertise and experience in international recruitment be an asset to us, but their ambitions and values are closely aligned with our own, particularly their commitment to providing a high-quality student experience.”
Paul Lovegrove, Navitas Universities Partnerships Europe CEO and Global Chief Operating Officer added: “We are delighted to welcome Keele University as a Navitas partner. The university shares many of the Navitas core values that focus on student experience and learning and offers terrific opportunities for international students.
“We look forward to supporting Keele University’s global ambitions in recruiting international students. We will offer an exciting curriculum across foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I look forward to welcoming our first international intake in September 2022, providing them with a positive and rewarding experience at Keele’s impressive campus.”
