New Business Management degrees allow students to specialise in different fields
A range of new Business Management degrees have been launched at Keele Business School, offering students the chance to specialise in a variety of different areas.
The suite of new degrees includes undergraduate degrees in Business Management with Entrepreneurship; Events; Hospitality; International Tourism; and Sustainability.
The five new specialisms complement Keele’s existing Business Management degrees on offer, which also include Finance; Marketing; and Human Resources.
Business Management at Keele provides a balance of a cutting-edge business education with practical, real-world skills to support students into the world of work.
The curriculum allows students to build their core business knowledge and develop understanding of organisations and how they function, focusing on areas like leadership, strategy, business operations, marketing and human resource management.
Economics, politics and society are also explored, along with data analysis, and with tailored module content for each specialism to give students a solid foundation for a career in their chosen industries.
Dr Scott Bambrick, Director of Keele Business School, said: “It is exciting for Keele Business School to be launching our remodelled curriculum for Business Management, which we have designed to be more attractive to students, whilst meeting the demands of employers and wider society.
“We have listened to our business partners to fully explore what they need from our graduates and our programmes feature a range of business engagement opportunities for students at all levels in their studies, meaning that every student will have that real-world experience they need to start their careers. We have worked hard to ensure these programmes have embedded a strong focus on employability skills, sustainability, and ensuring our students have the digital literacy skills they need to succeed in their future careers.
“With Business Management being the broad foundation for these degrees, we now offer even wider choice to students through these new specialism routes. We look forward to welcoming new cohorts of students to these programmes from September 2025.”
