Nursing at Keele ranked 2nd in England in the Times Good University Guide
Nursing at Keele has been ranked 2nd in England in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025, behind only the University of Sheffield.
The guide ranks courses at UK universities on several metrics including teaching quality, student experience, and research quality.
The School of Nursing and Midwifery at Keele University supports the professional and personal development of all our student nurses and midwives, with Nursing and Midwifery Council-approved undergraduate, postgraduate and post-registration level programmes.
Nursing and Midwifery was also ranked 6th in England in the Mail University Guide 2025, while the Guardian University Guide 2025 placed both the Adult Nursing, and Midwifery courses at Keele as the 10th best in England.
Marie Doherty, Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, said: “We are extremely proud of our position in the national rankings. I head up a vibrant team that truly inspires health care professional students, within pre- and post-registration education, to be the best version of themselves.
“Our programmes are underpinned by innovation, evidence-based practice, research, simulation, interprofessional education, resilience, reflection, and restorative supervision. We adopt a team approach whereby future and current clinicians are energised to deliver the best quality care, underpinned by excellence in patient safety.”
Keele University is hosting open days for undergraduate students at its campus on Saturday, October 12, Sunday, October 13 and Saturday, November 16. To book a place, visit https://www.keele.ac.uk/study/opendays/undergraduateopendays/
