Heidi Kempner

Biography

Heidi trained as a physiotherapist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham in 1989. She specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy from 1991, gaining an MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy and membership of the Musculoskeletal Association of Physiotherapists on 2011. She became an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) in 2010 and has since worked in spinal services and provided APP support to consultant-led knee and shoulder clinics. She completed an MSc level qualification in injection therapy in 2011 and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound in 2019. As an APP, recent clinical practice has included specialist musculoskeletal assessment, triage and management, requesting and interpretation of investigations and provision of diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound guided injections.
