Jennifer Swindells

Biography

Jenny embarked upon her pharmacy career within a prominent and expansive NHS Acute Trust. During her time there, she underwent a rotational scheme across diverse clinical specialisations, eventually culminating in the attainment of her Independent Prescribing Qualification in Adult Renal Medicine.
Subsequently, she went on to work within the Paediatric Department as a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, working across various areas including General Medicine, Oncology and Cystic Fibrosis. This path eventually led her to her previous role as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist specialising in Paediatric Nephrology.
She has always maintained an overarching commitment to teaching and mentoring throughout her career and in 2023, she assumed the role of lecturer within the Independent Prescribing team.
