Sam Patterson

Biography

After qualifying from Sheffield Hallam University in 2006, Sam worked clinically at Kingsmill Hospital, Mansfield and Royal Derby Hospital. A number of rotations were completed at Band 5 level and Sam Specialised in Respiratory, working within this speciality for 10 years.

A passion for student education helped to guide Sam's career and she stepped into learning and education, working as a Practice Learning Facilitator at UHDB, supporting students from all Allied Health Professions. After linking in with the clinical team in this capacity, the opportunity arose for Sam to join the team on a secondment and she came to Keele in 2022 as a Practice Experience Support Tutor.

Sam is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
