Biography

Biography

Sasha is a qualified Occupational Therapist following completion of BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy. She has experience across various clinical settings, with a particular focus on psychiatric healthcare. Sasha is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.

Sasha has extensive clinical experience within psychiatric in-patient and within rehabilitation community services and has also worked within acute stroke care.

Sasha's current research interests focus on the integration of artificial intelligence in education to enhance teaching excellence. Additionally, Sasha holds a personal interest in Occupational Therapy and veterans transitioning to civilian life.

Teaching

Sasha has extensive experience working with students in clinical settings and teaching on the MSc Occupational Therapy programme. She is particularly passionate about incorporating real-life clinical experiences into her teaching. Additionally, Sasha has led the support for apprentices in clinical environments.

Sasha has completed a postgraduate qualification in sensory integration, Sasha is a Sensory Integration Practitioner. Sasha would like to explore further research around Sensory Integration and being an Occupational Therapist.
