Blackbullion Learning Platform, Funding Hub and Money Management App

All Keele University students can register for a free Blackbullion account to get access to learning resources on a wide range of money topics, an app to manage your money specially designed for students, and the Funding Hub to search for hundreds of external scholarships and grants.

We’ve partnered with Blackbullion to help you get smart with money and take control of your financial future.

All of our applicants, current students, staff members and recent graduates have free access to Blackbullion’s award-winning learning platform and money management app. Blackbullion have also recently introduced the national Scholarships Hub into its platform too.

Learning platform - On the Blackbullion learning platform, you can start learning about all things money with on-demand online pathways on over 80 financial topics, designed to help you build healthy money habits for life. Topics range from Understanding Credit Score through to How to Grow Your Investment Portfolio. Some of our students' most popular pathways are Budgeting 101, Risk and Savings

Financial wellbeing score - This online tool is hosted on the learning platform and helps you evaluate your financial health so that you can steer towards a more secure future with personalised learning plans and actionable insights tailored to you. Link your bank accounts to understand more about your spending habits and start your path to improving your financial wellbeing.

Funding hub - Blackbullion hosts the largest database of scholarships, bursaries and additional funding in the UK. With your Blackbullion account, you can search for and find additional funding opportunities that you might be eligible for. You can find some (although not all) of our University scholarships and support funds on there, but also search for additional funding offered from other organisations and charities.

The Money Manager app - Blackbullion has created a personal finance app that keeps all of your accounts in one place to help you manage your money with confidence. The app is free, and it’s designed to help students manage their money, build healthy financial habits and empower them to make the most of their student experience. You can see all of your spending in a single place, set monthly budgets and add your own custom categories. There's no ads and no in-app purchases. The app is available to download on both iOS and Android devices.
