Apply for funding

The Bridging the Gaps Executive Board has defined a budget to support seed corn projects as in our experience through the 3ME this is vital for allowing cross-disciplinary ideas to get to the first stage prior to application for external funding.

Applications may be submitted at any time and will be considered by the Executive Committee once every two months. The next deadline for submissions will be 15 May 2012.

Successful applications will be listed on the Bridging the Gaps website and award holders will be required to contribute to Bridging the Gaps events.

Conference, Workshops and Network Meetings Funding

Bridging the Gaps can also provide small amounts of funding (under £150) and administrative support to facilitate small cross disciplinary events and meetings.

This funding would be provided to applicants if they can provide evidence that it will be used to promote collaboration between at least two of our faculties.

Furthermore this funding can be utilised by researchers who wish to visit research staff based at Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital at Oswestry or to attend Bridging the Gaps events.

Finally, we would like to invite any of our academic staff and postgraduate research students to email any requests for funding to Maria Kyriacou.
