Finalist in National Enterprise Educator Awards
Will Pritchard, one of Keele University’s Entrepreneurs in Residence, has been named as a finalist in the Enterprise Catalyst category of the National Enterprise Educator Awards (NEEA) 2018.
The award is designed to recognise exceptional individuals working inside or outside the curriculum in higher or further education, and to acknowledge those individuals working at the ‘grass roots’ level to influence transformational change in their organisation’s development and delivery of enterprise and entrepreneurship education and support.
Will has been nominated for the support he is providing to Keele’s student and graduate enterprise activities, alongside his work for the University’s Innovation Leadership* programme in which he coaches local business leaders and entrepreneurs to reach their full potential.
Speaking of his shortlisting, Will said: “I am very proud to have been named as a finalist for this award. However, I’m equally as proud to have been able to help Keele grow its student enterprise activity in the way that we’ve been able to over the past 18 months. Both for myself and the University, this is a real achievement and one that I’m looking forward to developing further in the future.”
The award winners will be announced at the IEEC2018 Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony in Leeds on Thursday 6 September 2018.
*The MCIL programme is part-funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the England 2014 to 2020 European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Growth Programme.
