World Malaria Day 'Biomedical Photo of the Day' for Prof. Paul Eggleston
An image of a mosquito pupa taken from a recent paper by Prof. Eggleston and colleagues was chosen by the Medical Research Council as their Biomedical Photo of the Day for World Malaria Day (April 25th).
The paper, entitled 'Next Generation Site-Directed Transgenesis in the Malaria Vector Mosquito Anopheles gambiae: Self-Docking Strains Expressing Germline-Specific phiC31 Integrase' was published in PLoS One by Paul Eggleston, Janet Meredith, Clare McArthur and Ann Underhill. It is available here.
