Aims
This module builds on the skills acquired through the first three BSL modules (or equivalent study), and further develops students' abilities to use and understand more complex grammatical aspects of BSL.

Description of Module Assessment
1: Presentation weighted 50%Formal, signed presentation and one-to-one conversationThe students will give a 6-8-minute formal presentation in BSL, which will be followed by a 12-15-minute one-to-one conversation with the examiner/tutor.
2: Exam weighted 50%1 hour Written examination1-hour written examination of aspects of BSL and Deaf Culture covered in class, consisting of 15 multiple choice questions and approximately 5 'short answer' questions.
