Description for 2021/22

This second year module will continue to develop research skills and knowledge gained in the first year. You will learn more about a range of methodologies and perspectives that are used to study public health and critically appraise literature, which will be the focus of your written assessment. These skills will be useful in any career which requires an evidence base to support its work.

Aims
This module will enable students to:
Further develop their research skills and knowledge relating to public health in understanding a range of methodologies and perspectives
Develop research skills to undertake critical appraisal of a body of literature relating to public health
