This module gives you the opportunity to learn about how psychology has been used to make a difference in everyday life. It will give you a flavour of how psychological theory is applied in practice. The classes will be taught by specialists in the areas, and topics may include but not limited to the application of psychology in the fields of health, education, clinical, and forensic settings. You will also be asked to use your learning to reflect on your own career aspirations and development.
Aims
This module aims to provide students with an awareness of how psychological theory and research are applied to different domains of everyday life, e.g. health, education, sports and exercise, neurological disorders, clinical, and forensic life to improve overall human experience.

Description of Module Assessment
1: Case Study weighted 100%Case studiesAt regular intervals, students will be provided with a case study, based on taught topics, and will be asked to apply their knowledge of psychology to provide guidance to the subject of the case study. They will be given 6 case studies; the final one will ask them to reflect on their own career journey in psychology. The word limit for each case study is 300 words per case study.
