The module introduces students to the analysis of company performance using real time information from the Bloomberg trading platform. The module will familiarise students with techniques in performance measurement, and will evaluate their use, using data from Bloomberg. The module provides students with hands-on experience of analysing company performance and will familiarise students with the industry standard software for company analysis.
Aims
The aim of this module is to provide students with the opportunity to explore company performance issues and techniques in business scenarios, through case study learning using the Bloomberg trading platform. The module introduces students to practical case studies in performance management and equips students with the tools to analyse case studies to enable an understanding of the role of company performance performance in planning, setting, and monitoring strategic objectives.
