Aims
This module will provide learning opportunities for students to gain experience of paramedic practice, to gain knowledge and skills that are fundamental to the MSci Paramedic Science. The learning and teaching strategy will follow a blended learning approach utilising Keele¿s Learning Environment and face-to-face teaching. The teaching of the module will be delivered by a range of experienced health care professionals. 1: Practical Assessment weighted 0%Practical Assessment - 15 minutes DurationStudents are expected to perform adult intermediate life support
2: Oral Exam weighted 100%Oral Examination - 20 minutesDirect Face-Face or Online oral examination - Students are expected to provide answers to 3 of 5 seen questions. Questions are provided to students in advance of the assessment date.
3: Practical Assessment weighted 0%Practical Assessment - 15 minutes DurationStudents are required to perform a safe and effective simulated drug administration.
