The Physiotherapy Practice: Neurology module builds on content introduced in Year 1 of the MSci Physiotherapy programme and enables the student to assess and manage common neurological conditions through clinical reasoning and formulation of a problem list. Students will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills required to utilise handling techniques, exercise therapy and patient education in the management of neurological conditions. The module aims to prepare the student to work in specific neurological settings whilst also developing transferable skills such as movement analysis and handling that can be used across specialities and be applied in a variety of healthcare settings and specialities.
