Description for 2022/23


Aims
This module aims to:
- Enable the students to evaluate approaches to Learning and Teaching and their application in their own development, the supporting of peers and the management of physiotherapy patients.
- Develop the skills to effectively and efficiently plan, deliver and evaluate education in a healthcare setting.

Study hours

30 tutor led hours which may include lectures, workshops, seminars, tutorials and two hours of assessment preparation classes etc.
120 hours of independent study including 20 hours of guided independent study.

Description of Module Assessment

1: Report weighted 100%
Individual Report 2000 words
Students submit an individual written report of 2000 words on the development and justification of a learning resource after producing the resource as part of a small group activity (approx 4-6 students). The students ability to work in small groups will be assessed by incorporating a peer review component (WebPA) peer assessment tool. 40% of the individual's mark will be influenced by the outcome of the peer assessment tool.
