This module will enable you to further develop your knowledge and skills in a clinical practice setting relating to your field of nursing, managing more complex health needs and the care of a group of people, prioritising health needs and undertaking medicines management. You will be supported by a practice supervisor and academic assessor, and you will be assessed in practice by a practice assessor.
Aims
To:- Further develop your clinical nursing practice knowledge, skills and professionalism, within your chosen field of nursing - Learn and practise clinical skills in a simulated environment.- Develop reflective practice skills to aid integration of theory and practice learning.

Intended Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate safe, effective, compassionate, evidence-based nursing practice in simulated and clinical settings in accordance with the current NMC Code (2018) through successful completion of remaining practice proficiencies within the Year 2 practice assessment document, and including medicines management: 1Demonstrate appropriate, professional interpersonal skills in simulated and clinical practice settings using a range of strategies with colleagues and people at different stages of life with a range of mental, physical, cognitive and behavioural health challenges: 1Apply effective, defined knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide person-centred care for a person with complex needs, or for a small group of people in a specific episode of care, including undertaking a `whole person assessment¿, use of evidence-based practice, recognition of health lifestyle choices, and assessment and management of risk: 2Reflect on development of personal leadership qualities and team working skills and develop reflective practice to aid the integration of theory and practice learning, in their own field of nursing practice with a focus on team roles and working as part of a multi-professional team: 3
