In this module you will undertake supervised work experience in a role identified by you with the support of professional careers staff. In support of this you will engage in a series of workshops which will assist you in developing your career plans, organising and making the most of your work placement, and in reflecting on the experience and identifying future priorities, areas of strength, and areas which are priorities for future development.
Aims
To enable students to enhance their employability, their preparedness to secure and keep jobs, and to undertake ongoing personal and professional development while employed.

1: Portfolio weighted 100%Portfolio of Career Development Related exercises4000 word portfolio, consisting of a range of exercises, which are likely to include:
2000 word reflective evaluation of work experience;
Job application completed to a professional standard;
Skills audit;
Statement of values and personal priorities.
