Description for 2024/25

This module will provide students with the opportunity to evaluate healthcare policy, the role of healthcare regulators in the UK and in other countries. Students will explore competencies that enhance the culture of safety within organisations, governance and improvement methodologies that improve patient safety, patient experience and outcomes. The module takes a blended learning approach to meet the needs of students in professional roles and encourages collaborative practice.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of healthcare policy and quality measures including risk avoidance, governance and improvement methodologies that enhance patient and population well-being.
