Description for 2024/25

This module enables students to evaluate, integrate and apply theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills to a programming, research or business problem within the discipline.

Aims
The aims of this module are:
1) To integrate and apply theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills to an identified design and implementation need and/or an advanced research problem within the discipline.
2) To acquire and demonstrate transferable skills which enhance employability in the Information technology sector.
3) To develop a research topic and/or software product to an acceptable publishable or marketable standard.
