Description for 2024/25

This module examines the structure and operation of the foreign exchange market, analysing FOREX derivatives and arbitrage possibilities in the FOREX. The module will also introduce different theoretical and empirical models aimed at explaining the behaviour of exchange rates.

Aims
The aim of this module is to extend and develop students' understanding of international finance. The module will familiarise students with the structure of the foreign exchange market, the determinants of the foreign exchange rate, and the characteristics of international financial markets.
