This module tracks the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) syllabus on fixed income securities. It provides in-depth insight into the valuation and management of the fixed income market. It prepares students to sit for the CFA professional exam. It also explores the latest methodologies to assess and measure credit risk. Finally it provides students an in-depth of understanding of the potential losses that can accrue due to the failures in the fixed income market.
Aims
This module introduces students to the fixed income market. It provides students with the ability to value and understand fixed income instruments. Moreover, this module also introduces students to managing credit risk associated with fixed income instruments.
