Description for 2024/25

This is an optional module on the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (distance learning) programme. The module will support the learner in developing as a clinical teacher through reflection. The learner will be required to undertake a number of reflective activities during the module, and provide a written commentary on their personal development.

Aims

Learners will explore the foundations and theoretical underpinnings of reflection before utilising various reflective frameworks to structure their reflective writing. Learners will use peer feedback, student feedback, and theory to inform their reflective accounts.
