Description for 2024/25

This is a core module on the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (distance learning) programme. The module will enable the learner to interpret and build upon the theoretical frameworks that apply to learning, teaching and assessment and develop understanding in the areas that are relevant in medical education. The learner will be required to construct a personal education portfolio to support their development as a clinical teacher in delivering effective clinical teaching within the clinical environment.

Study hours

This module will be delivered as a distance learning module therefore the total required hours will be 300 independent study hours as they work through the module content and learner activities.
