Thinking about a career in clinical neuropsychology or as an applied cognitive researcher? Then this module will provide you with an introduction to working with individuals in a clinical and applied setting. Not only will you discover the underpinning knowledge and practice of clinical neuropsychology, you will also learn about neurological disorders, how clinical interviews are conducted, as well as other applications of cognition and cognitive science.
Aims
To provide students with the chance to develop an understanding of how clinical neuropsychology and cognition is applied to issues such as the diagnosis of neurological disorders and symptoms, and decision making in applied settings.

1: Case Study weighted 50%A 1,500 word structured case study
2: Essay weighted 50%1,500 word essay on a chosen area of applied cognition, from a choice of titles
