This module forms part of the BSc (Hons) Rehabilitation Science programme at Keele which are innovative, integrated programmes that prepare the graduate for further study or potential employment in health and social care settings. The module builds on content introduced in Year 1 and the Year 2 Semester 1 module Evidence Based Health and Rehabilitation and offers students some choice in research themes/topics. The programme reflect the shifting emphasis away from increasing the quantity of care towards enhancing the quality of care, moving away from a medical disease model towards a health model based on personal responsibility and prevention of disease.
Aims
This module aims to develop the students' knowledge and skills required to conduct research.

30 tutor led hours which may include lectures, workshops, seminars, tutorials and two hours of assessment preparation classes etc.120 hours of independent study.
Successful completion of 105 credits of the BSc (Hons) Rehabilitation Science at Level 4, normally at Keele University.
