Aims
To develop and advance the student¿s ability to critically apply underpinning theory, knowledge and skills to manage complex patients. The module will enable the student to synthesise and justify effective evidence-based management of individuals with complex rehabilitation needs, whilst advancing clinical decision-making skills.

Intended Learning Outcomes
Critically relate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and advanced special tests to propose an appropriate assessment and management plan for a patient with complex needs.: 1Synthesize anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics knowledge and justify assessment findings to provide a critically supported differential diagnosis, formulate and justify a clinically reasoned problem list for a complex patient.: 1Justify the adaptation of a technical design and prescription of P&O devices within the context of a complex case scenario.: 1Integrate an individual's social/environmental factors and the promotion of patient function, activity and participation into the management of a patient with complex needs.: 1
