Aims
The aim of this module is to ensure that the student commences their self- development journey with a firm focus on the regulatory body requirements of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) for professional and collaborative practice. The module aims to promote confidence building strategies through group workshops and a positive approach to group discussions.

Understand the professional standards, scope of practice, responsibility, and accountability for radiography students and radiographers: 1
Describe effective communication mechanisms which support person-centered care within healthcare organisations: 1
Demonstrate an understanding of team working within multi-disciplinary environments: 1
Understand the importance of CPD and audit within radiography.: 1

Study hours

3 hrs IPE event
6 hrs workshops
50 hrs directed from/supporting scheduled sessions, suggested reading completion /preparation for teaching sessions (pre-session work) or group workshop follow up incorporating the on-line learning platform of E-learning for Health.

Description of Module Assessment

1: Assignment weighted 100%
Written essay of 1,500 words
This 1,500 word reflective essay assignment requires the student to focus upon the inter-professional education (IPE) event as an example, in order to evaluate and critique their team's performance when related to the theory of multidisciplinary roles and team working within clinical settings. Those unable to attend the IPE event will be given a hypothetical event on which to apply the theories.
