This is a mandatory and final skills development module which seeks to develop and consolidate the development of professional skills, further preparing the student for the final practice placement, and thus enhancing graduate employability.
Aims
The module aims to enhance students' knowledge and analytical skills for the qualifying level of the Professional Capabilities Framework and in line with Social Work England's Practice Learning expectations, as part of the MA Social Work. This module aims to develop reflexive practice and professional skills including those involved in working with increased complexity and risk.
Intended Learning Outcomes

Description of Module Assessment
1: Reflective Diary weighted 40%Four x 250 word CPD LogFour 250-word CPD logs, in line with Social Work England requirements, detailing learning of on campus taught sessions
2: Individual Report weighted 60%1000-word critical career review1000-word critical career review ¿ exploring the student's professional development to date against the PCF and Social Work England's Professional Standards and how this will support them to gain their first social work position
