Dr Chen Yunhui
Dr Chen is the Deputy Dean of the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute and an Associate Professor and Postgraduate Supervisor at the School of Fundamental Medicines, CDUTCM.
With over 15 years of experience in education, Dr. Chen has extensive experience in curriculum design and implementation and has designed international short-term and degree programs in TCM aligning with the educational standards of various countries. She has also been invited to engage in academic exchanges in more than ten countries and regions.
Dr. Chen’s research primarily focuses on natural products that exhibit anti-oxidative stress, anti-neurodegenerative, lipid-regulating activities, and their underlying molecular mechanisms. By now, she has published over 90 journal articles, with more than 30 included in the SCI. As a physician, she is also committed to developing integrative therapeutic strategies for alleviating cognitive decline and depression, while deciphering their mechanism of action.
