Dr Tom Shepherd
Dr Thomas Shepherd is the Faculty Dean of Research for Medicine and Health Sciences, Keele University and Programme Director for Public Health Management for the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Medical and Health Sciences Institute.
He has extensive global and public health research expertise with a research interests focused on reducing health inequalities, improving health outcomes in marginalised communities and exploring the impacts of climate change on health. He has completed multiple global health research projects and has extensive international research networks across Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia.
He has taught Public Health and empirical research methods extensively at Keele University at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. On the basis of his contribution to the field of Public Health, he was recently awarded Fellowship by distinction by the Faculty of Public Health in the UK.
