Emily Pinter
Emily Pinter is a third-year PhD student at Keele University. Her main area of research is investigating whether glycosaminoglycans have the potential to be Alzheimer’s therapeutics, specifically BACE1 inhibitors. She is also researching the genetic side of Alzheimer’s and the relationship between ApoE4 and heparin. She uses a variety of techniques including ELISAs, FRET assays and coagulation assays.
