Lucy graduated from Keele University with a First Class Honours in Biomedical Science during the midst of the pandemic in 2021. Her final year project investigated the effect of a series of commonly used therapeutics including heparin on the structure of the receptor binding domain of SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein. She is now completing her PhD, in which she is looking at the nature of the interactions between heparin/heparan sulfate with proteins. Outside of her studies, Lucy enjoys acting through which she has filmed for a variety of shows across BBC, CBBC and Channel 4.
