Nursing at Keele climbs into UK Top 10 in prestigious national ranking
Keele has climbed into the top 10 places in the UK to study Nursing in a prestigious national newspaper’s university ranking.
The Times Good University Guide 2024 has placed Nursing at Keele 7th in the UK, climbing four places from last year’s table to place firmly in the UK top 10.
The league table ranks university courses based on five crucial metrics; teaching quality, student experience, research quality, entry standards and graduate prospects.
Like all healthcare courses at Keele, Nursing students at Keele benefit from strong links with NHS and private, voluntary and independent sector providers for the provision of clinical placements.
Keele’s campus is also fitted out with state-of-the-art simulation facilities for Nursing students of all specialities, with high-tech training facilities featuring specially designed manikins that can be programmed to simulate a variety of medical conditions and emergencies.
Professor Julie Green, Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Keele University, said: “We are very proud of our excellent metrics that are reflective of the high standard of nurse education that we provide.
“Colleagues work extremely hard to ensure our students have the very best experience on programme and are fully prepared to enter the workforce on completion. Keele student experience is important to us; we are responsive to feedback provided and we work closely with students and our clinical partners to ensure our programmes meet the needs of both the student and the future workforce.”
