I am an interventional cardiologist with a special interest in structural intervention and cardiac CT imaging. I completed my Doctorate in Medicine (MD) at Keele University under the supervision of Prof. Mamas Mamas in November 2023. As a big data analyst, I focus on interventional procedure outcomes, having published data on complex high-risk coronary intervention procedures’ outcomes. Currently, I am working on the role of cardiac CT analysis in improving high-risk structural procedural outcomes. In addition, I have a particular interest in gender disparities in cardiovascular disease management and clinical outcomes.
I presented my work at various international conferences such as the ACC, TCT, PCR London Valves, and EuroPCR, where I received awards and prizes for best presentation. In addition, I am a reviewer for several indexed cardiovascular journals and am involved in mentoring and supervising research fellows.
