Study design
A qualitative study and systematic review
Primary objective
To explore what the key markers of disease progression and outcomes are for those with dementia, and identify those which can be identified from Electronic Patient Records in Primary Care.
Interventions
A systematic review will be undertaken to assess the current literature on outcomes within primary care. Focus group and consensus group meetings will be conducted for health professionals, third sector participants, persons with dementia, and caregivers to explore what outcomes and markers are important.
