Food shopping and groceries

There is a variety of shopping options available including large supermarket, convenience stores, small shops and market stalls.

You can visit Select and Save which is in the row of shops next to the KeeleSU which is a licensed supermarket selling a range of fresh, convenience grocery and non-food products. KeeleSU shop on the ground floor of KeeleSU which stocks a selection of toiletries, stationary, cards and snacks.

For a wider choice of goods, the nearest supermarket to the Keele Campus are:

Sainsbury’s in Newcastle-Under-Lyme, a 15 minute bus journey away.

Morrisons in Goose Street, Newcastle Under Lyme.

Morrisons in Lower Milehouse, Newcastle under Lyme.

Specialist supermarkets

Pak Foods specialise in supplying food items from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Eastern Europe.  They can be found at 50 Stoke Road, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 2QX Telephone: +44 (0)1782 749555 which is near to Stoke Rail Station and can be accessed by the number 3 bus service from Keele.

Wing Lee specialise in the supply of Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Philippine food items.  They can be found at Dennis Violet Avenue, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 4TN Telephone: +44(0)1782 593388.  Although it is possible to get to Wing Lee by public transport using the number 3 and 23 bus services, it may be easier to travel by car or taxi.
