University and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA) Senior Staff Remuneration Survey Data Collection
The shared personal data of qualifying senior staff (holders of substantive professor, function head or equivalent level roles and above) for the UCEA survey falls into the following categories:
• level of the contracted role (responsibility level, level 2 job code and professor codes)
• nature of the contracted role (job function, sub-function, HESA cost centre and HECoS discipline codes)
• nature of contract (permanent or rotating contract – professors only)
• geographical region of the institution
• gender
• birth year
• basic pay, total pay and additional pay data
• full-time equivalent worked
• pensions data
• private medical coverage and cost to employer
• any other benefits
The data is processed based on the following conditions:

The data is collected from the information that the University holds regarding its staff and will not be used for any other purpose than for providing responses to the stated survey.
